Bensonhurst Cocktail is a modern adaptation of the classic Brooklyn cocktail, and it is named after the Brooklyn neighborhood of Bensonhurst. This cocktail was created in recent years, 2006 to be exact, by a bartender named Chad Solomon. It is made of rye whiskey, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and Cynar.

  1. 60 ml rye whiskey

  2. 30 ml dry vermouth

  3. 2 teaspoons Luxardo maraschino liqueur

  4. 1 teaspoon Cynar

How to Make a Bensonhurst Cocktail

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice and add rye whiskey, dry vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and Cynar, and stir until chilled.
