60 ml bourbon
30 ml fresh lemon juice
20 ml simple syrup
1 egg white (optional)
30 ml fruity red wine
Ice
Garnish: lemon twist
Add the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for about 20 seconds until chilled.
Strain the mix into an ice-filled lowball glass.
Gently pour the red wine above a back of a spoon on the top layer of the cocktail surface.
Garnish with the lemon twist.
