A Cosmopolitan is a sweetish cocktail that is made with vodka, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, and lime. We believe It was created by a bartender in the 1970s. It has since become one of the most popular cocktails worldwide.
45 ml Vodka
15 ml triple sec
30 ml cranberry juice
10 ml lime juice
Ice cubes
Orange peel for decoration
Mix the first four ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled, and strain into a glass. Garnish with the orange peel.
There are many variations of this drink. Some add other ingredients like orange juice, grapefruit juice, or pineapple juice, But there is one variation that we prefer and this is the White Cosmopolitan.
To make the White Cosmopolitan just replace the regular cranberry juice with white cranberry juice, and that’s it.
The Cosmocello cocktail is delicious, refreshing, and easy to make. To make it you will just need to replace the lime juice with Limoncello. It is typically served in a martini glass.
