The Margarita glass typically holds 12-20 fluid ounces and has a large rim often used for rimming with sugars or salts. Margarita glasses are bowl-shaped with a mid-length stem. Many glasses will have a smaller bowl shape with a large 5” diameter brim, making it look much like an upside-down sombrero hat.

For those who do not rim their glasses with salt/sugar, a standard old fashioned or highball glass will provide the same level of satisfaction.
