Tres Generaciones is a 100% Blue Agave triple distilled Tequila (NOM: 1102) produced in Jalisco Mexico in 1973 by Don Francisco Javier Sauza. The name “Tres Generaciones” represents the three generations of legendary tequila pioneers of the Sauza family who helped define the industry: Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and Don Francisco Javier Sauza.

Tres Generaciones has three varieties: Plata (~$45.99), Reposado (~$47.99) and Añejo (~$49.99) with a redesigned bottle, the new design launched in January 2009.

Owned by Beam Global Spirits & Wine part of Fortune Brands (NYSE:FO), the Sauza brand produces four unique brands: Sauza, Conmemorativo, Hornitos and Tres Generaciones. The front label features medallions of the three founding Dons of Sauza (Don Cenobio, Don Eladio and Don Francisco Javier) and the date of 1973 when Don Cenobio founded La Perseverancia, the Sauze family distillery.

In many ways, the Tres Generaciones brand tells the history of Sauze and its family tree. The three generations of experience goes into the bottle design along with its liquid contents.
